Borders, McLaughlin & Associates announces a Pilot Program in Family Law Courts in Orange County, California. For program details click on the news link.
High risk child custody issues involving allegations of domestic violence, child sexual abuse, or other serious allegations usually require immediate actions by a party or the Court to protect the victim. An Expedited Family Threat Assessment will prove or disprove the allegations, while focusing on the investigation rather than just evaluating those involved. If the allegations are confirmed, then a risk assessment will be performed to provide information on the nature and extent of the risk involved and identify who is a potential victim.
This Expedited Family Threat Assessment, under certain circumstances, can be completed within 3 to 4 weeks so that critical decisions regarding visitation, custody, restraining orders and other matters can be made promptly.
These investigations are invaluable in assessing what is in the best interests of the child(ren). As with all our assessments, a condensed, easy to read report is provided and summarizes the investigators findings and conclusions.
